LED Video Wall Tips
Pixel Pitch
Linear measurement in millimetres between the centres of adjacent pixels.
Smaller pixel pitch corresponds to a higher resolution, and a closer optimum viewing distance.
Common Guideline
Comfortable viewing distance = 8 feet for every millimeter of pixel, so a 1-mm pixel pitch display looks good as close as 8 feet away, whereas a 2mm pixel pitch display is best seen from 16 feet or further back.
IP Rating
IP Rating (Ingress Protection) rates the degree of protection provided by the enclosure of an electronics device against foreign objects (such as dust) and water.
IP (Ingress Protection) Rating is represented by combining two numbers.
The first number represents the level of protection against solid objects.
The second number represents the level of protection against water.
