Corporate Governance

UAT is committed to the highest level of corporate governance in the interest of our business partners and customers. To facilitate our management to operate and oversee the business in a transparent and accountable manner, our employees need to document business transactions tidily and timely for external statutory audit and internal examination. Also, we encourage them to involve in decision making process which intrinsically improves transparency.


Code of Conduct and Ethics

Everyone of UAT pursues the highest standard of integrity in professional code of conduct and ethics. UAT staff are always trained and updated of the latest technology and integrity requirements.

Information obtained from clients is kept in central server with right protection.The access to server requires a valid password.Employees are trained not to discuss with or forward information to third parties not relevant in a project or work process.

Confidentiality is the postulate of UAT. We respect information confidentiality. We do not disclose any confidential information to third parties unless required by laws.


Human Rights and Social Policy

UAT seeks to identify, assess, and manage human rights impacts within our capabilities and activities. We have our human rights and social policy to:

  • Respect the human rights of our employees at work

  • Establish and maintain appropriate procedures to evaluate and select major suppliers and contractors

  • Respect the culture, custom, and value in the diversified community and promote the fulfillment of human rights through improving economic, environmental, and social practices

  • Promote the realization of environmental sustainability and uphold the highest standards in business ethics and integrity


Anti-Corruption Policy

UAT strives for success but not at the expense of integrity and compliance. It is our declared objective to work against illegal payments, undue gifts, and entertainment in all its forms and strictly forbid bribery and corruption, in line with the founded guidelines of the Independent Commission against Corruption. We maintain the routine training to our employees to acknowledge this policy.


Supply Chain Code of Conduct

At UAT, our core values are passion, integrity, and teamwork. We develop long term partnership and expect all of our business partners would operate on the same principle in the supply chain code of conduct:

Customer Satisfaction Policy

UAT Customer Satisfaction Improvement Cycle demonstrates how we maintain and improve customer satisfaction continually. We conduct customer satisfaction survey to monitor customer satisfaction and provide training program to our customer service team for carrying out different business activities such as customer listening, provision of prompt resolution, investigation of root cause, and prevention of problem recurrence.


Quality Policy

To provide high quality audio visual and video conferencing products and services, UAT has our quality policy to:

  • Set objectives and targets to continually improve the company’s quality of design, installation, and maintenance services

  • Take external providers’ quality performance into account in our purchasing strategies

  • Comply with all legal, statutory, and contractual requirements, relevant standards, codes of practice and any other requirements

  • Cultivate competency and quality awareness among employees through provision of appropriate trainings

  • Commit to continual improvement of services quality and integrated management systems


Environmental Policy

UAT integrates environmental impact as a factor in business decisions. We educate employees to protect our environment by having the environmental policy to:

  • Set objectives and targets to continually improve the company’s environmental performance that protect the environment, prevent pollution and utilize the use of resource

  • Communicate the company’s environmental policy and management strategy to employees, clients and external providers

  • Take external providers’ environmental performance into account in our purchasing strategies

  • Comply with all legal, statutory, and contractual requirements, relevant standards, codes of practice and any other requirements

  • Cultivate environment awareness among employees through provision of appropriate trainings


Occupational Health and Safety Policy

UAT maintains a safe and healthy working environment for our employees. We have our occupational health and safety policy to:

  • Set objectives and targets to continually improve the company’s occupational health and safety (OH&S) performance and OH&S management system to prevent work-related injuries, accidents, and ill health; eliminate hazards and reduce OH&S risks throughout all company operation and activities

  • Communicate the company’s OH&S policy and management strategy to employees, clients and external providers

  • Take external providers’ safety performance into account in our purchasing strategies

  • Comply with all legal, statutory, and contractual requirements, relevant standards, codes of practice and any other requirements

  • Maintain healthy and regular consultation and participation of workers’ representatives and workers in occupational health and safety issues

  • Cultivate OH&S awareness among employees through provision of appropriate trainings

  • Provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, clients, external providers’ and visitors, and appropriate protection to other people who may be affected by our works


Shareholder Policy

UAT aims to ‘provide best’ to our shareholders to ensure that the company’s Net Total Assets reflect its underlying values and future prospects. The company seeks to engage in an open and continuous dialogue with the shareholders.

UAT is to protect shareholder rights and interests by maximizing reasonable returns over years. This is done within acceptable risk parameters through effective management of the company's operations and continued growth in profitability.

Information is disseminated on the company’s enterprise management system, through perpetual and annual reports and at monthly meetings with shareholders. The Finance Manager participates actively and continuously in these efforts.


Government Policy

UAT respects government policies and should not in any case violate any of the stipulated laws and rules. If a situation exists where an act tends to cross the regulation, UAT should always choose to follow the laws.

Though UAT is a small to medium size company having little effort in influencing a Government practice, UAT should always demonstrate itself as a decent corporate citizen in participating in voting or contributing opinion to government departments or officials.
