UAT is recognized as One of the Top 10 Companies in the Fourth Hong Kong SME Business Sustainability Index

(3 March 2017, Hong Kong) To promote the understanding and the adoption of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a model of business sustainability in Hong Kong, the Department of Management and Marketing of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) began the compilation of the "Hong Kong SME Business Sustainability Index" in 2012. UAT is glad to be recognized as one of the Index's top 10 companies for three consecutive years.

The results of the Index were announced on Tuesday, 14 February 2017 at the Announcement and Recognition Ceremony held on PolyU campus. Certificates of Recognition were presented to representatives of the 33 indexed small and medium enterprises (SMEs), recognizing their achievements in CSR practices and serving as a benchmark of business sustainability for the SME sector.

Officiating at the ceremony were Dr. Christine Loh, JP, Under Secretary of Environment Bureau of HKSAR Government, Dr. Miranda Lou, Vice President (Administration and Business) of PolyU, Prof. Edwin Cheng, Dean of Faculty of Business of PolyU, Mr. Cliff Choi, Business Director (Public Engagement & Partnership) of The Hong Kong Council of Social Service, Mr. Clement Li, General Manager (Management Consulting) of Hong Kong Productivity Council, and Dr. Edward Lam, President of the Hong Kong Small and Medium Enterprises Development Federation.

UAT continuously works to undergo a long journey in sustaining effort to promote CSR and achieve business sustainability, improve knowledge and understanding of CSR management and practice, and maintain long-term dedication and commitment to CSR.
