UAT has been praised as the Caring Company for 8 Consecutive Years

(11 April 2017, Hong Kong) Launched by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service in 2002, the Caring Company Scheme aims at cultivating good corporate citizenship. UAT has been recognized as the Caring Company for 8 consecutive years in demonstrating a caring spirit to promote corporate social responsibility.

The Caring Company Partnership Expo 2017 was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on Friday, 10 March 2017. 3,478 companies and organizations were awarded the Caring Company logos/ Caring Organization logos, indicating more of them are willing to take up the responsibility to care for the community.

This year, UAT has launched the Employee Assistance Program, assisting employees to deal with the difficulties and problems encountered in their work, interpersonal relationship, personal growth, and family issues through counseling hotline, face-to-face counseling, health talks, training activities and other professional support services. The Program is designed and provided by professional social workers with rich experience in counseling.

As one of the seven Founding Members of Caring SME Alliance, Mr. Tony Cheung, General Manager of UAT, participated in the Information Session for the Pilot Employee Assistance Program for SMEs, encouraging participation of SMEs in providing assistance to their employees. At UAT, we implement corporate social responsibility in caring employees, our most important asset through various means including training and development, work-life balance, family friendly, reward and recognition, and employee assistance program.
