(8 April 2016, Hong Kong) In enhancing employee morale and building a happy working culture, the Promoting Happiness Index Foundation and the Hong Kong Productivity Council jointly organized the Happiness-at-work Index Scheme. UAT has been praised as the Happy Company for 4 consecutive years.

265 Happy Companies and 18 Happy Organizations were awarded at the Ceremony at HKPC Building on Thursday, 7 April 2016. The Hon Matthew Cheung Kin Chung, GBS, JP, Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Labour and Welfare Bureau of the HKSAR, accompanied by Dr. Edward Chan, President of Promoting Happiness Index Foundation and Mr. Clement Chen, Chairman of Hong Kong Productivity Council.

'Entering the twentieth year, we continuously create an integrated, happy, and safe workplace for employees, our most important asset.' Mr. Tony Cheung, General Manager of UAT said, 'Recently, we have launched the Employee Caring Program consisting of initiatives in the Caring Committee, Training and Development, Work-life Balance, Family Friendly, and Reward and Recognition to optimize employee talent.'
