UAT attains the winner of the CSR Award

(26 September 2014, Hong Kong) In recognizing the achievements of Hong Kong's promising enterprises and entrepreneurs, the South China Morning Post has organized the Enterprising Hong Kong Awards 2014. The Awards Ceremony and Dinner was held at the Grand Ballroom, JW Marriott Hotel on Thursday, 25 September 2014. UAT is delighted to achieve the final winner under the CSR Award category.

Established in 2013, the Enterprising Hong Kong Awards split into eight categories which are selected by a panel of independent judges and voted by the public. Among them, the CSR Award celebrates and commends the unsung efforts of enterprises who have embraced their roles as socially responsible corporate citizens.

The ceremony was kick-started with the Guest of Honour, Hon. Gregory So, GBS, JP, Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development, the Government of HKSAR, officiating and delivering the Opening Remarks, followed by a night of award presentation and entertainment. UAT is glad to exchange with over 250 guests including honorary and executive committee members of Hong Kong's numerous SME associations, winners, finalists, judges and other invited VIPs gathered in this meaningful event.

In the 'Corporate charity helps kids find their own paths', the story of UAT published in the South China Morning Post on Friday, 5 September 2014, Ms. Erica Ko, our Public Relations Manager, said, 'We hold at least one voluntary activity together with our employees, helping children, elderly and disabled people.' She continued, 'In the last year, we launched the 'Path to Adulthood: UAT Youth Cultivation Scheme' to do more to help the young people.'

There are five parts of the scheme, namely, Children Holistic Development, Youth Career Guidance, University CSR Education, Mainland Education, and Donation, supporting 5 NGOs and 4 schools with diversified activities including sports training, environmental and cultural outreach, career workshop, internship, university and China education.
