(9 August 2013, Hong Kong) UAT zealously works with educators to leverage the advanced multimedia education solutions. In this summer, the City University of Hong Kong (CityU) and Hong Kong University of Science & Technology (HKUST) have appointed UAT to design and deploy audio visual and video conferencing systems for the education facilities.

Both CityU and HKUST have strengthened cross-departmental collaborations and offered state-of-the-art learning, teaching and research facilities in a high-technology environment. One of the highlights of the project is a Senate Room where the Senate conducts meetings to facilitate teaching and research at the University.

Altogether, the Universities commonly use the following UAT audio visual and video conferencing facilities:

  • Multipoint video conferencing system for academic exchange and presentation
  • HD projector with flat projection screen and LCD display panel for presentation, multimedia content, and camera feed
  • Comprehensive audio system with fine sound tuning and optimum acoustic control
  • Recording and live streaming solution in playing back and sharing
  • Signal routing system routes video and audio signals from multiple input sources to multiple destinations
  • Audio visual and video conferencing system management through the central control system

Collectively, managing interactive facilities is centralized into one slight touch. It provides a major portion of the underlying infrastructure for the Universities' highly sophisticated audio visual operations and an engaging education environment.

Education environment augmented with multimedia education capabilities require flawless design, signal distribution, and processing solution to meet the critical applications with consistent reliability and robustness. UAT's reliability and functionality in project management, equipment installation, system integration, and service support are recognized. The result: highly compelling education with maximum impact.
