(15 May 2012, Hong Kong) UAT is entering its 15th year of services in the audio visual industry in 2012. 'UAT establishes corporate responsibility as one of the core values and will promote the concept of share and care to the employees, family members, customers, and the public,' says Mr. Tony Cheung, General Manager of UAT, who pledges to corporate citizenship.

To celebrate its 15th Anniversary, UAT is organizing the 'UAT 15th Anniversary Charity Program' on 26 and 27 May 2012. The goal of the program is to continue its contribution to the community, and encourage people to participate to improve our society. The charity program is being carried out through the participation of all employees and volunteers in 15 activities, for example, 'Cloths, Stationery, and Canned Food Donation', 'After School Care Volunteering', 'Provide Hair-cut, Massage and Bone-Mineral Density Checking Services to Elders', 'Theme Park Visiting with the Disabled', 'Blood Donation', 'Hobby Class for Moderate Mentally Handicapped' and finale with 'Charitable Basketball Competition'.

On Saturday, 26 May 2012, there will be a Pledge Ceremony to kick off the charity program at Caritas Community Hall, Aberdeen at 1pm. The program will be followed by a finale with Charitable Basketball Competition at Southorn Stadium, Wanchai on the next day.

To reinforce its corporate social responsibility and manage resources for charitable activities more effectively, UAT established UAT Association, a non-profitable organization in 2011. UAT Association is formed with volunteer teams to deliver different kinds of social services. To encourage healthiness, UAT supports various sport activities continuously. For instance, it sponsors Guanzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Macau Basketball Tournament every year.

UAT strives saving natural resources and recycling equipment. Recently, it has collected one batch of electronic whiteboards which are well functioning. Each electronic whiteboard is in good working condition with printing function and comes with a movable stand. UAT has donated these recycled electronic whiteboards to non-profitable organizations, schools with free delivery service.

Thanks to stakeholders' support, our achievement in the business and the community has been widely recognized and awarded the 'Best Super Brand Award 2011' of Business Quotient Journal, Active Participation in Corporate Citizenship Activities of Hong Kong Productivity Council, Caring Company of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, The Best Performance Company Award of Capital Weekly and more.
