UAT Youth Cultivation Program 2021/2022

UAT is always dedicated to support educational institutions to nurture the all round development of youngsters. in 2022, UAT has formulated various programs to walk with the youngsters.

Youth Mentor Program

UAT provides internship opportunities to students of vocational institutions. With UAT staff assigned as career mentor pairing up with the intern for guidance on job know-how and career experience sharing.

"I Believe I Can" Growth Program

Students in these two years may not be able to attend physical school normally due to the social health situation. In view of this, UAT co-operates and provides resources to social service groups in hiring professional tutors to deliver tuition class and flexible care service to needy students.

UAT Youth Scholarship 2021

Since 2018, UAT has established "UAT Youth Scholarship" to encourage students of special education needs to participate actively in extra-curricular activities, get engaged with the society and develop the spirit of "Help others and thus own-self". This year, awardees of "UAT Youth Scholarship" came from 7 special education needs institutions, including HK Red Cross John F. Kennedy Centre, HK Red Cross Margaret Trench School, SAHK Ko Fook Iu Memorial School, SAHK B M Kotewall Memorial School, SAHK Jockey Club Elaine Field School, and HK Christian Service Pui Oi School. The chairman of the UAT Association and UAT's caring ambassador went to each school to present the scholarships to students, and communicated with the principals, teachers and students to understand their needs.

The 3rd "Talent We Can" Performance Event

UAT believes students with special education needs possess initiatives, team spirit, confidence and positive energy. To recognise their potential, UAT holds the annual event of "Talent We Can" performance, which provides an opportunity for students performing in front of public to get their talent shone. This year, format of the show is changed with UAT team visiting every school to encourage, watch and video-record the performance, with highlighted performance videos delivered during the award presentation ceremony online.

UAT provides all around career and personal development guides to the youth, and is glad to find our youngsters are getting more initiative. UAT believes the society will benefit from the positive energy, reliability and professional dedication of the youth.
