UAT Supported Internship Programme for Autistic Youth
Mr. Tony Cheung was invited to a live interview of the radio programme “ 非常人物生活雜誌”on Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) Radio 1 on January 13th 2019 from 1pm to 2pm, to share the company’s valuable experience in supporting internship programme for autistic youth, which is steered by the “ASD Life and Career Planning Pilot Project” as organised by the organisation “Make Sense Life”. Through vocational coaching in business environment, the internship programme is aimed to enhance autistic youths’ independence, employability and the ability to integrate with the community.

As a participating employer, Tony commented he found the autistic youth possessing a high potential to perform, with neat and organised working manner. By coaching, it is also a chance to learn. Through the programme, UAT enjoys the opportunity to support in creating opportunity for the vulnerable community. UAT believes with an opportunity, everyone can glow!
