Participating in the ACCA Community Day for 8 Consecutive Years

Starting from 2008, UAT has continuously supported the ACCA Community Day's Corporate Sponsorship Program for 8 successive years. In this year, we are grateful to exchange with the sponsors, business enterprises, charities, and volunteers in this charitable event at the Charter Road Sunday Pedestrian Precinct, Central on Sunday, 18 January 2015.

The opening ceremony was kick-started with Mr. Fergus Wong, Chairman of ACCA Hong Kong; Mr. Matthew Cheung, GBS, JP, Guest of Honour, Secretary for Labour and Welfare, HKSAR; Ms. Claudia Schlesinger, Chief Executive Officer of Enlighten Hong Kong Limited; Ms. Queenie Tao, Executive Director of Harmony House Limited and Ms. Stella Cheung, Marketing and Business Development Officer of Jubilee Ministries.

Each year, hundreds of participants from accountancy firms, multinational companies, corporations, and institutions came together for the exciting rickshaw race. To promote corporate volunteerism, UAT always encourages employees to actively participate in voluntary services in building a cohesive community together through helping the needy.

With this year's event theme 'We are the World', UAT is dedicated to spreading the message of love and care for the needy with stakeholders. The proceeds raised this year will go forwards the programmes targeting various social vulnerable groups organized by three beneficiary organizations including Enlightened Hong Kong Limited, Harmony House Limited, and Jubilee Ministries.
