UAT and Polycom have taken part in the FutureGov Forum Hong Kong 2012 in the Mira Hotel Hong Kong on Wednesday, 21 November 2012. It is a government focused conference which has roundtable discussion topics including Citizen Engagement, Cloud Computing, Information Security, Information Management, Green Government, Government Analytics, and Mobile Government. The forum has attracted more than 100 senior government officials and IT professionals.

UAT and Polycom were some of the major sponsors of the forum in which UAT showcased Polycom Visual Communication Solutions. We demonstrated Polycom Government Collaboration solutions with multipoint video conferencing, multimedia executive desktop video conference phone, desktop, tablet and smartphone mobile video conferencing applications, HD audio conferencing, and IP phone system.

Marc-Alexis Remond, Global Director, Enterprise Solutions and Market Development of Polycom, shared and discussed valuable topics about how E-Government transformed citizen engagement through visual collaboration with the professionals in the Interactive Discussion Table section. Participants found the topic useful and they actively expressed their point of views during the discussion.

It has been a constructive event that lets Government officers meet technology providers and have more in-depth knowledge of the application of the latest visual collaboration solutions. During the conversation, we are glad to learn that many of the government officers have adopted audiovisual and video conferencing solutions in their operation offices.
