UAT receives the 4th Hong Kong Outstanding Corporate Citizenship Award

(4 February 2014, Hong Kong) In recognizing organizations' outstanding achievements in corporate social responsibility, the Hong Kong Productivity Council has organized the 4th Hong Kong Outstanding Corporate Citizenship Awards Presentation Ceremony on Tuesday, 21 January 2014 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. UAT is glad to receive the Merit Award in fulfilling its social responsibility.

Officiating at the ceremony were Miss Annie Tam, Permanent Secretary for Labour and Welfare of the HKSAR Government; Mr. Victor Ng, Deputy Chairman of Hong Kong Productivity Council; Ms. Melissa Pang, Convenor of the Research, Development and Community Participation Sub-committee of Promotion of Civic Education; and Ms. Zhu Yanlai, Deputy Chief Executive of Bank of China Hong Kong.

This year, forty companies, corporate volunteer teams and social enterprises were recognized at the ceremony. UAT has been awarded for three consecutive years. Since its founding, UAT has continuously strived to contribute to the corporate responsibility and sustainable development of society. Contributions towards corporate responsibility take into consideration of UAT's relations with stakeholders, including customers, employees, suppliers, business partners, local communities, government, and non-governmental organizations.

The importance of corporate-grade video conferencing in enhancing business efficiency and communication has been recognized. UAT has completed respectable projects for banking and finance, listed companies, hotels, Departments of the HKSAR, Judiciary, hospitals, and universities. The number of projects is consistently growing year by year.
