ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme
UAT is awarded the status of “Manpower Developer” for 2018-20 by the Employer Retraining Board. The “ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme” recognise organisations which demonstrate outstanding achievements in manpower training and development as Manpower Developers (MDs).
The Presentation Ceremony was held on 4 May 2018 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, officiated by Dr. the Hon. LAM Ching-choi, BBS, JP, Member of the Executive Council, Dr. William LEUNG Wing-cheung, SBS, JP, Chairman of ERB, Mr. YU Pang-chun, SBS, JP, Vice-Chairman of ERB, Mr. Henry FUNG Hing-lai, Political Assistant to Secretary for Labour and Welfare and Mr. Byron NG Kwok-keung, BBS, Executive Director of ERB.
The ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme is the first accreditation system to assess the level of maturity of manpower training and development strategies and practices of companies in Hong Kong. The scheme examined a company in various areas such as leading a learning culture, resources investment on training, and training needs analysis. The average benchmark score of UAT is above 90.
