20th ACCA Community Day
UAT has participated in the ACCA Community Day for Ten Years
On Sunday, 15 January 2017, UAT participated in the 20th ACCA Community Day at Chater Road Sunday Pedestrian Zone in Central. UAT has continuously sponsored and supported the event for 10 consecutive years, supporting the needy with NGOs and stakeholders together.
This year's event is accredited as one of the celebration activities for 'HKSAR 20th Anniversary' with the theme '20 Years of Love Transcending Decades'. Delivering remarks at the opening ceremony were Ms. Alice Yip, Chairman of ACCA Hong Kong; Honour Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, GBS, JP, Acting Chief Secretary for Administration, and Mr. Paul Chan Mo-po, GBS, MH, JP, Secretary for Development of the HKSAR.
UAT, together with hundreds of participants from accountancy firms, multinational companies, corporations, and institutions raised over HK$1.4 million, a record-breaking amount, with donations going to Hong Chi Association, Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation, and Jubilee Ministries.
