Recently, UAT participated in the Report Back Session of 'Study Visit on Sustainable Development and Corporate Community Investment in Japan', organized by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) from 21 to 24 March 2017, exploring the community strategy and practice with delegates from Japanese corporations.

Image Description

During the study visit, Ms. Wendy Luk, Senior Manager, Caring Company Scheme of HKCSS and 11 members from NGOs and corporations in Hong Kong visited various Japanese corporations including Hitachi Limited and Shiseido Company Limited. In Japan, no corresponding representatives are solely responsible for the corporate social responsibility (CSR) but the whole effort throughout the corporations. UAT is inspired with the uplift from CSR to creating social value (CSV) and is dedicated to implementing both CSV and CSR in the second half year of 2017.

Since its founding, UAT has continuously strived to contribute to the corporate responsibility and sustainment development of the society. This endeavor is the guiding principle at UAT.
