UAT supports Friends of Good Hope Education Fund
Education has long been a major focus of UAT corporate social contribution. Throughout the years, UAT has sponsored Friends of Good Hope Education Fund, helping to improve Child Education in rural areas in China.
Friends of Good Hope Education Fund is a registered charitable organization in Hong Kong aiming at accelerating educational development in poverty-stricken areas in China through financial supports, school builds, donations, and educational projects.
The Fund has organized the Hubei Charity Walk from 2009 to 2013, assisting children from Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome families to receive senior secondary, tertiary, and university education. UAT is glad to continuously support this meaningful event by means of donation and uniform sponsorship. During 12 to 20 April 2014, over 30 volunteers participated in the Charity Walk with delegates, volunteers, and students from Zhongnan Hospital and Hubei Minsheng Gas. They have completed 130 kilometres from Shishou, Muyu, Jingzhou, Shennongjia, and Xiangyang to Wuhan.
