Being an independent statutory body to secure the protection of individuals with respect to personal data, the client has appointed UAT as its audio-visual and video collaboration solution consultant and system integrator to deploy a complete conferencing and audio visual system fulfilling its unique operation needs in the Wanchai office, with project work covering the Multi-Purpose Room and the Lounge areas.

The Multi-Purpose Room which serves as a press conference centre for media announcements, a training room for regular seminars catering to organisation clients, can accommodate up to 120 audience. To empower the facility with large format display with vivid video and content sharing capabilities, it is equipped with a central 150” LED Wall, supplemented by a 70” interactive display panel for presentation purpose. A Polycom RealPresence Group video conferencing system is deployed to deliver TV quality conferencing experience. A Polycom EagleEye camera is mounted at the front of the room to capture views of both the audience floor and the speaker. At the back of the room, a pan-tilt-zoom camera is mounted on the ceiling to capture the event floor’s video for inhouse recording, streaming and broadcasting purpose. To perfect the audio quality of the room to deliver clear and immersive sound, Polycom SoundStructure is employed. Besides, to allow direct audio recording made available to the media, a tailored Sound Box solution is provided which connects the processed audio signals from the Soundstructure to media representatives’ video-cameras. An intuitive central room control system is in place to control all room equipments and environmentals through single touch on IPads.

In the lounge areas where people are having meetings and group presentations, the couch zone is equipped with a 70” LCD display with Polycom Pano for easy content sharing and wireless presentations from laptop or mobile devices.
