Moving into the new office since 2013, UAT has completed renovation work in early 2014. The Mock-up Demonstration Centre provides a fast mock-up of user requirement and real experience before decision.
Innovative AV Integration
Our in-house research and development team always keeps abreast of the latest technology to meet the new standards of seamless communication within the ever-changing collaboration needs. Over the years, we have been innovative in the live streaming of digital signage, connecting computer and AV equipment wirelessly, object-oriented approach in smart office programming and the integration of recording, streaming and video-on-demand.

UAT is celebrating its 15th anniversary. The theme for 2012 is . We had our partners and customers attending our 15th Anniversary Opening Pledge Ceremony to kick off "UAT 15th Anniversary Charity Program". The charity program brought UAT, Caritas Hong Kong and all volunteers together to participate in 15 charitable activities.

Deluxe Boardroom
UAT moved to a larger office in the same building, Convention Plaza. A prime location has allowed us to provide prompt services to premium customers. With over a decade's experience, we provided glamorous boardroom design with a combination of the latest AV equipment, lighting and videoconferencing. UAT has been enthusiastic in supporting more charitable and sports events.
High Definition AV Projects
UAT marketed a full range of High Definition (HD) Polycom videoconferencing equipment. Meanwhile, UAT acquired admirable AV projects from PricewaterhouseCoopers, Lehman Brothers, China Travel, Constitutional Department and Astec. Our videoconferencing project expansion took a leap forward.
Innovative Integration
UAT introduced Polycom videoconferencing systems including SlimPro and MegaPro series that accounted for a magnificent acceptance by customers. In the same year, UAT launched Polycom videoconferencing PresencePro series to let our customers enjoy life-like videoconferencing experience.
Corporate Responsibilities
UAT participated more in the communities by providing internship to IVE and university students. Besides, UAT also actively sponsored numerous sports activities in Hong Kong.
Rapid Growth
UAT kept on improving the service quality to handle complex service calls and AV projects. UAT completed several major videoconferencing and AV projects, namely Goldman Sachs, Trade Development Council in the PRC, Chinese Universities and Civil Aviation Department.
Corporate Citizen Caring Hong Kong
During the SARS outbreak, UAT provided support to the Health Department to combat SARS by providing videoconferencing equipment and sending engineers to stand by during videoconferencing call to maintain uninterrupted communication among different government departments.
UAT 5th Anniversary
UAT reached its 5th anniversary. Our scope of AV project size also expanded in Hong Kong, for example, we held projects for the Yahoo!, Bank of China, CLP Power and Hospital Authority.
Paperless, More efficient and Fully Automated
UAT selected IBM Lotus Domino/Notes, a world-class middleware, to standardize all our business applications. We use it to develop our in-house enterprise management system, Finance, Logistics and Profession (FLP).
Expansion and Re-engineering
UAT moved to a larger office in the Convention and Exhibition Centre on Hong Kong Island. The teams and working processes were re-defined and streamlined in order to provide quality services to our customers.
Polycom Distributorship
UAT acquired the distributorship of Polycom videoconferencing systems. In 1999, Polycom had the largest market share in Hong Kong videoconferencing market. The customer base started to grow and cover large and multinational corporations.
TeleVu VC
UAT introduced "TeleVu VC" videoconferencing equipment to Hong Kong. Those products attracted family users and small to medium companies.
UAT and Videoconferencing
The restructuring and merging of two companies formed Ultra Active Technology Limited (UAT). We aimed to explore more business applications, not just computer hardware and software. UAT tapped the videoconferencing Hong Kong market and started to focus on sourcing different brands on videoconferencing systems.
Former UAT
In 1989, Mr. Tony Cheung founded Oasis Systems Limited with Mr. Sultan Rehman, a world-class architect programmer, multiple patents holder, and co-author of 'XML' published by Microsoft Press. The vision of Oasis was to develop application software for real-time business process.
Oasis laid the first milestone and acquired the HKSA Project in 1990 (HKSA is currently known as the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants) in consulting, developing, and implementing Practice Review, ever-top confidential statutory regulation of HKSA.
