Recently, UAT participated in the Cricket Family Fun cum Caring SME Alliance Kick-off Day organized by HKSKH Lady Maclehose Centre, and co-organized by Caring SME Alliance and The Hong Kong Council of Social Service, joining hands for social participation and corporate volunteerism.

On Saturday, 14 November 2015, UAT, together with 6 Founding Members of Caring SME Alliance, namely BABY-KINGDOM.COM Limited, Bamboos Professional Nursing Services Limited, Carthy Limited, Concord Alliance Limited, Magic Clean Environmental Services Limited, and Richform Holdings Limited, fostered corporate volunteers to participate in the community activity.

Officiating at the activity were Mrs. Helina Yuk, Director of HKSKH Lady Maclehose Centre; Mr, Cliff Choi, Business Director, Public Engagement & Partnership of The Hong Kong Council of Social Science and Dr. Jimmy Lau, Chairman of Caring SME Alliance. During the event, volunteers played cricket with 30 South Asians and newly-arrival family members.

We especially give our thanks to the cricket team in coaching and demonstrating the cricket to over 60 of us. The activity is meaningful in spreading the interest of cricket game and enabling us to know more about the origin and rules of this game. Mostly importantly, it is successful in putting companies and companies, companies and NGOs, and families and families of different cultures and races together for a more cohesive society.
