The 12th ACCA Charity Fun Day 2008 was held on 14 December 2008 (Sunday) at the Chater Road Pedestrian Zone in Central and was a day of great entertainment. Mr. Matthew Cheung, GBS, KP, Secretary for Labour and Welfare, HKSAR Government and Mr. Paul M P Chan, MH, JP, Legislative Councillor were the special guests at the opening ceremony. Thousands of members and their families gathered together at the fun day.

UAT being one of the major corporate sponsors of the ACCA Charity Fun Day 2008, not only sponsored the event but also participated in the traditional Richshaw Race! A total of 30 Rickshaw teams from accountancy firms, corporations, colleagues and academic institutions in their amazing costumes raced for the triumph and cheers. The organizer opened a fantastic Fun Land for all ages, with interesting game booths and many entertaining street performances.

This year, the fund raised will be donated to the Helping Hand for its "Healthy and Wealthy - Living Well for Single Elderly" project, International Social Service Hong Kong Branch Tin Shui Wai (North) Integrated Family Service Centre for its "City Beneath The Light - Tin Shui Wai Drama Project" and The Senior Citizen Home Safety Association for its "Thoughtful Care for the Elder Program 2008".
