City University is celebrating its silver jubilee in 2009. One of the highlights of the celebration is the Anniversary Banquet which is held on 6 December 2009 at the Convention Hall, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

UAT, as a sponsor, is proudly seeing the journey undertaken by CityU students and alumni as they transform into professionals. The Banquet provides a great networking opportunity with a variety of delightful performances and there were more than 800 dignitaries, honourable guests, alumni and students to participate. The Anniversary Banquet includes a rejoicing evening enriched with programmes to highlight the University's outstanding achievements in its history of 25 years. The banquet kicks off by a fantastic parade featuring 25 alumni from a range of disciplines on graduation gowns, with the symbolic meaning to signify the University's achievement as a cradle nurturing a good mix of professionals.

Following the opening is the award presentation for winners of the "Golden Memories in CityU" Photographic Collection. The enchanting performances by the CityU Chinese orchestra, City Singers, as well as the lively magic show by the Magic Society of the Student Union, added a splash of colour to this joyful reunion.
