A centralized server for recording, streaming and archiving multimedia conferences. Utilize the Polycom RSS 2000 server with H.323 standards-based video endpoints to quickly and easily record video conferences, lectures, training sessions, personal video messages, data and more.

Polycom RSS 2000 server leverages the Polycom UltimateHDTM experience supporting HD video (720p and 1080p) as well as HD VoiceTM with SirenTM22 Stereo. The server can stream events in real-time or archive recordings for on-demand playback from Web or from a video endpoint. It supports both unicast Video on Demand and Multicast for streaming to large amount of desktops.

In addition, content can be downloaded for post editing production or automatically imported into an enterprise wide content management application such as the Polycom VMC 1000 video on demand and live broadcast server. There is also a firewall protection through a Polycom Video Border ProxyTM (VBPTM) NAT/Firewall solution.
