HSBC Living Business Programme is an annual program organized by HSBC HK Commercial Banking. The program promotes sustainability along supply chain. Sustainable supply chain can help businesses better manage their business risks, identify and realize operational efficiencies, create sustainable news and services, and ultimately generate sustainable values for all stakeholders.
Entering its twelfth year, officiating at the ceremony included Mr. Stephen Sui, JP, Under Secretary for Labour and Welfare of HKSAR and Mr. Albert Chan, Head of HSBC HK Commercial Banking. UAT is pleased to receive the Certificates of Excellence in Caring for People Award and Community Engagement Award, which praise UAT's efforts in facilitating sustainable development for all stakeholders.
Employee is the most important asset of UAT. Apart from encouraging employees' training and personal career development, we also recognize employees with outstanding achievement in the employee recognition ceremony. We regularly organize activities for employees and their family members in order to accelerate work-life balance and family-friendly practices.
During this year, UAT continues encouraging employees to participate in voluntary activities to promote corporate volunteerism, including community visit, outing activity, training program, and donation to support the people in need while sharing skills with them.
In the coming years, UAT will sustain to focus on the sustainability and move a step further to fulfill sustainability along the supply chain, to become more competitive and productive by socially and environmentally incorporating sustainable practices into business operations.
