Engaging with 8 NGOs and corporations with large community outreach, SCMP also gathers worthy individuals for nominations. The Nominations Committee reviews the nominations based on 3 pillars: Fortitude, Impact and Inspiration, in accordance with a set of scoring system for fairness.
In this year, UAT is delighted to achieve as one of the finalists in the Spirit of Hong Kong Awards and final winner of CSR Award category, Enterprising Hong Kong Awards. Mr. Tony Cheung, our General Manager, said, 'UAT is dedicated to stakeholders' wellness and corporate volunteerism since incorporation. 'He continued, 'We insist on organizing monthly voluntary activities and encouraging our employees to participate to help the disadvantaged.'
During 2013 to 14, UAT has launched Path to Adulthood: UAT Youth Cultivation Scheme to nurture our next generation. We uphold Children Holistic Development, Youth Career Guidance, University CSR Education, Mainland Education, and Donation, supporting 5 NGOs and 4 schools with diversified activities including sports training, environmental and cultural outreach, internship, career workshop, and university and China education.
